I had the opportunity to take a day out of my week in Orlando attending the DEMA show to travel with some divers to the Crystal River in Florida to freedive with Manatees.

Self Assigned Video Podcasts: DEMA 2006 Highlights
In November 2006, I went to cover the Dive Equipment and Manufacturers Association Trade show in Orlando, Florida for my other website - UWDV.COM. This was a self generated assignment to get my feet wet with shooting, editing and uploading each days assignment.
Project: Derek Perry - Volunteer Freediver
Here is a self assigned project I completed on a unique volunteer who gives his time at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport Oregon.
While the Aquarium has about 120 volunteer scuba divers, Derek Perry is the only volunteer freediver they currently have donating time to help with the day to day care and cleaning of the Aquarium exhibits. He drives 2 hours each way, twice a month to donate his time because he believes in what the Aquarium is doing.
Light & Motion Bluefin HC7 Project

Assignment: Product Demonstration Video for their newly released Bluefin HC7 Underwater Video Housing for the SONY HC7 Hi Def Video Camera.
Description: Light & Motion is an underwater housing and bike light company in Monterey, Calif. They contacted me after a series of self generated video podcasts I produced in late 2006 for my other site, UWDV.COM. This is the second in a series of video’s I’m producing for them. All aspects of the project were done in the Solo VJ paradigm
Project: Marieke Schuurs - Professional Singer
Here is a self assigned small project I just completed on a professional singer.
Her story I felt was somewhat unique and this project shows how one can do a slice of life story for a small town newspaper moving to video on their website.
