Surfing the web today led me over at CURRENT.TV’s VJ training site

Now many would be VJ’s have the desire to become a part of the new wave of Indie Video Journalists, but lack the financial resources necessary for professional training.

Current TV has a great little section on their site that teaches the very basics of producing content as a video journalist. After having gone through their training video’s, it’s apparent this content is targeted at the newcomer. Most of the information is rudimentary for someone who has been a visual content creator for some time, but as a basic learning tool, it provides a solid foundation by which to build upon. If someone is showing interest in wanting to be a video journalist, I would recommend going on over to their training section and watching their presentations. It’s hip and targeted at the new generation of young adults wanting to make a difference.
I try to live by this axiom - one is never too old or experienced to learn something new.
