What is the foundation of working as a Solo Videojournalist?

My friend and colleague David Dunkley Gyimah has created a concept called IM6, which stands for Integrated Multimedia 6 ways.

IM6 states that one Shoots, Edits, Produces, Codes, Mixes Audio and Publishes the content start to finish by one person. The Solo VJ paradigm is about using smaller hand held cameras and throwing traditional convention out the window in favor of taking risks within the technical boundaries of video.

The archaic way of producing video content requires more people, more time and is less agile in the process.

As a vocal advocate of this paradigm, I intend on pushing the envelope even further, ruffling even more feathers, and hopefully, establishing a more solid foundation for those who will be coming into the fold of the Solo VJ paradigm.
