Michael Rosenblum has posted on his blog that “KGTV, the VJ (or DC) driven station in San Diego has moved way up in the ratings as of the critical May sweeps period. Some newscasts have shown increases of almost 30%.”

For the nay sayers who use derisive comments about the Solo Video Journalist paradigm as diminishing the craft I say, you have been proven wrong.

It takes proper training and a willingness to move outside of ones comfort zone in order to make this work. I myself am experiencing this - but I choose to see the future, not live in the past. If we are to survive, adaptation isn’t a luxury - it’s a necessity.

And this really is about choice. Choose to adapt now or get left behind.
