This was a documentary project I shot during the last 18 months of my youngest daughters life.
I am very proud of this project as it is a testimony of how I saw her. She struggled with a rare congenital birth defect and passed away in June of 1992.

Thank you for posting that.
I’m sure you appreciate having that record of the last months of your daughter’s life and its a valuable reminder of that time, and her spirit. I photographed my daughter’s birth in a similar fashion and appreciate that I looked beyond other’s discomfort of my camera during that time.
As a father myself, 8 year old, I realize that childrene constantly remind you through their presence of how precious life is, and how we should never forget how we should appreciate every moment we have on this planet.
